About Me
I graduated from the University of California at Davis in 2001, with a Bachelor's of Science in Environmental Policy Analysis and Planning. I spent many years as a City Planner, gaining valuable experience in collaboration, multi-tasking, writing, public speaking, and team building. After the birth of my fourth child, I chose to stay home and discover new passions. Through spending time in my own children's classrooms I realized how much I enjoy being with children and I became interested in teaching. I began to substitute teach and upon my very first day, I knew I wanted to have my own classroom. I enrolled in the Master of Teaching program at William Jessup University in Rocklin and received my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential.
I am married to my husband Greg, and we have four children: Jillian, Colin, Alison, and Megan. I enjoy spending time with my family, going on road-trips, watching movies from the 80's, listening to 80's music, eating Mexican food, and continuing to grow as a person.
